What it does
. . . The plan provides you with ready access to a competent, concerned legal staff available for consultation or representation, even in emergencies. This legal staff can act as your own representative in most of the legal and financial problems you will ever face. The attorneys are certified to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
Where?
. . . The plan will provide representation in the Washington, DC metropolitan area including suburban Maryland and Virginia. In the event you have a problem outside the area, we will assist you in obtaining local counsel in that area.
How much does it cost?

What about personal injury cases?
. . . The plan provides coverage for you and your dependents for claims when you suffer injuries due to an accident which was not your fault. In cases where you are awarded money as a result of your injuries the fee to you will be a maximum of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total recovery. In the event you do not receive any payment through settlement or by a Court Award for injuries suffered in the accident, you will not be charged any attorney’s fees.

1. Call the appropriate office. Hours are: Monday – Friday – 9:00 am – 5:30 pm2. Be prepared to briefly describe the nature of your legal problem. An appointment will be made with a specialist in that area3. For the first appointment you will need your social security number4. Be on time. If you have to break your appointment, please try to notify the office at least 24 hours in advance.
Who is eligible?
. . . Any current member in good standing of the PGCPCE Association is eligible. Also eligible are members’ spouses and dependents.
